Kermit The Frog says, "It's not easy being green," but here at Pittsburg High School we can make it easier. The PHS Green Society will be selling the annual Earth Day Celebration t-shirts in the commons during lunch this week. There are several designs to choose from. Stop by and purchase a shirt to help celebrate the 40th anniversary of Earth Day. (Perez)

Robert "Bob" Tindel Scholarship: Pittsburg State University has announced the Robert "Bob" Tindel Scholarship in the amount of $1000. This scholarship will be given to a qualifed Pittsburg High School graduatd who meets the following criteria: plans to attend PSU, pursue a major in Theatre or Communication Education, and have a gpa of 3.0 or better. Application materials can be obtained in the counseling office. Completed applications must be returned to Rhonda White by March 11, 2010.
